tomtom announced Navigation Software for the iPhone


 







As it can be read here, a TOMTOM - iPhone Version will be released soon. This brings full tomtom Navigantional Services on the iPhone 3G with GPS. This means good news for all iPhone fans with interest in Navigation. TomTom is a leading company for Navigational Services and a Manufacture of GPS Devices. Apple can be proud a Company like tomtom is supporting the iPhone. The engagement of TOMTOM stresses the importance of the iPhone as a development platform. Let´s hope they are releasing their iPhone Navigtional Software soon. Go ahead tomtom!

It appears that Apple’s licensing agreement will specifically ban 3rd party navigation apps from using the IPhones 3G connectivity. Seems that would apply to any plans TomTom might have for the IPhone.
